Baseball's Series Finale Against Juniata Postponed Due To Inclement Weather

The University of Scranton baseball team's game against Juniata on Sunday at Connell Park has been postponed. No makeup has been scheduled.

The game, which was to be the Royals' final game of the season, was called off after persistent light rain in the Scranton area all morning. Scranton took the first two games of the Landmark Conference series on Saturday, winning 6-5 and 7-6.

With Landmark Conference playoffs starting next weekend and neither team qualifying for the postseason, the game is unlikely to be rescheduled. Should that be the case, the Royals will finish their season with a 19-19 record, the seventh time in the past 10 seasons the team has finished with a record of .500 or better.
