The University of Scranton baseball team (1-3, 1-3 Landmark) battles Moravian (3-1, 3-1 Landmark) in Landmark Conference action this weekend with the two teams slated to play a doubleheader in Bethlehem on Saturday before returning to Volpe Field for a pair of games on Tuesday afternoon
First pitch of game one on Saturday is slated for 12:30 p.m. and things will get underway at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, fans will not be allowed to attend any of the games in this series at Moravian or Scranton.

Royals News & Notes
- The Royals went 1-3 in a four-game set against Elizabethtown last weekend, picking up an 8-1 victory over the Blue Jays on Sunday behind 5 2/3 shutout innings from junior southpaw James Gadue (West Hartford, Conn./Hall) who was making his first start since April 30, 2019.
- Junior Tyler Kirsten (Wallenpaupack, Pa./Wallenpaupack Area) served as a catalyst offensively for Scranton in the four-game series, going 4-13 (.308) with two doubles, two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored. Senior Connor Harding (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) also added four hits on the weekend and stole a pair of bases, while sophomore Justin Pinckert (Somerville, N.J./Immaculata) doubled and drove in three runs in the 8-1 victory over ETown in game one on Sunday.
- On the mound, Scranton received a pair of impressive outings from junior right-hander Josh Lydon (Shavertown, Pa./Dallas) who allowed just one run and struck out five in five innings of work in Sunday's nightcap and freshman lefty Matthew Moreira (Union, N.J./Saint Peter's Prep) who surrendered just one run over 5 2/3 IP of relief in game one on Saturday.
