The University of Scranton baseball team capped off their regular season with a dominant 17-0 victory over Moravian at Gillespie Field in Bethlehem, Pa.

How it Happened
- Scranton struck in the opening inning as John Heitzman drove in Joey Granko with an RBI single to give the Royals a 1-0 lead. A sacrifice fly from Jack Portman in the second extended the advantage to 2-0.
- Heitzman delivered again in the fifth with another RBI single, stretching the lead to three runs.
- The Royals broke the game open with a 10-run sixth inning to build a 13-0 cushion. Conor Campbell drew a bases-loaded walk before Matthew Gannon and Granko added RBI singles. Heitzman followed with a sacrifice fly to make it 7-0. Gannon later scored on a wild pitch, and Cassella crossed the plate on a throwing error to push the lead to nine. Jimmy Lundari added an RBI single, Portman scored on an error for the 11th run, and Campbell capped the inning with a two-run single to give Scranton a 13-run advantage.
- In the seventh, Thomas Lacoe and Lundari each drew bases-loaded walks to force in two more runs. Aidan Casey scored on a fielder's choice, and Campbell added another RBI single as the Royals extended the lead to 17-0.
- On the mound, Mason Fischer was dominant, carrying a no-hitter into the seventh inning. Although Moravian broke it up with an infield single, Fischer closed out the complete-game effort with four strikeouts while allowing just one hit as Scranton secured a 17-0 victory in seven innings via the mercy rule.
