SCRANTON, Pa. – The University of Scranton men's tennis team (1-3) dropped a 9-0 decision to the Kutztown Golden Bears (2-2) in the Royals' fall finale on Wednesday afternoon at the Royal Courts in Scranton.

In doubles play, freshmen Maxwell Dombrowski (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) and Isaiah Dore (Plainfield, N.J./Plainfield Academy for the Arts & Advanced Studies) battled hard but dropped a tough 8-4 decision to Gonzalo Barcelo and Joaquin Perez at the first flight.

Dombrowski also fought to the end against Barcelo at the first singles flight before dropping a 6-1, 2-6, 2-6 decision.

The Royals will resume the 2023-24 season in March.
