The University of Scranton baseball team and head coach Mike Bartoletti have announced the program's 2024 schedule with the season set to get underway on Feb. 24.

Scranton will host RIT in consecutive home games on Feb. 24 & 25 before hitting the road to take on 2023 national runner-up Johns Hopkins in a doubleheader on Mar. 2. Following home contests versus Gettysburg (Mar. 3) and William Paterson (Mar. 6), the Royals will head to Florida for the team's annual Spring Break trip from Mar. 9-15.

Landmark Conference play will begin with a three-game series at Elizabethtown on Mar. 16-17.

From Mar. 30-Apr. 16, the Royals will play a stretch of 12 of 14 at Volpe Field which includes conference doubleheaders against Catholic (Mar. 30) and Susquehanna (Apr. 13) as well as other Landmark games versus Drew (Apr. 9) and Wilkes (Apr. 16).

A total of 21 home games at Volpe Field are included on the 2024 slate.

After a trip to Juniata for a weekend series on Apr. 20-21 and a game at Drew on Apr. 24, the Royals are slated to close out the regular season with five straight home games versus Moravian (Doubleheader – Apr. 27), Moravian (Apr. 28), Ithaca (Apr. 30) and DeSales (May 1).

The Royals are set to take on six NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago in Elizabethtown, Johns Hopkins, Keystone (Apr. 7), Misericordia (Apr. 8), Penn State-Harrisburg (Apr. 5) and Susquehanna.
