SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton women's soccer team earned a 3-0 win over Goucher College in Landmark Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Weiss Field.

How it Happened

• The Royals struck early in the opening two minutes of play as senior Emily Bannon delivered a cross into the box from the right wing and found graduate student Claire Mulholland who ripped a first-time shot into the top right corner to put Scranton up 1-0. 
• Scranton also started the second half strong as graduate student Mary Haggerty received a pass from junior Liv Enderle on a short corner and hit a long-range shot with her left foot that knocked off the far post and into the back of the net to add to the Royals' lead in the 47th minute. 
• Mulholland scored her second goal of the game in the 55th minute as she received a through ball from graduate student Niamh Healy and beat out the Goucher goalkeeper to the left side of the net to make it 3-0. 

Top Performers

• Mulholland paced the Scranton offense with her brace and now has three goals on the year.
• Haggerty recorded her fourth goal of the season. 
• Senior goalkeeper Nicole Olson posted her seventh shutout victory of the year.

• Scranton held a 33-0 advantage in shots and a 12-0 edge in corner kicks.
