SELINSGROVE, PA -- The University of Scranton women's soccer team earned its seventh consecutive victory on Saturday, defeating Susquehanna University 3-0 in Landmark Conference action.

How it Happened
- Scranton struck early in the third minute as graduate student Niamh Healy took advantage of a poor clearance from the Susquehanna back line on a corner and ripped a shot with her right foot off the half volley from just inside the 18 yard box into the top left corner of the net.
- The Royals made it 2-0 in the opening minute of the second half as senior Emily Bannon drove into the box from the right wing and found classmate Samantha Goffice who took a touch past a River Hawk defender and launched a shot with her left foot into the upper left corner of the goal.
- Sophomore Jenna Borelli capped off the scoring on the day as she crashed the net on a shot from junior Morgan Griffin and knocked in the rebound to give Scranton a 3-0 lead in the 64th minute.
Top Performers
- Healy recorded her 12th goal of the season and fourth in the last three games.
- Goffice scored her third goal of the year and second in the last two games.
- Borelli notched her fourth goal of the season which ranks tied for second on the team.
- The Scranton defense posted its fifth straight shutout in conference play.
