BETHLEHEM, PA -- Graduate student Claire Mulholland scored in the 89th minute to lead The University of Scranton women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Moravian University in the final match of the regular season.

• Records: No. 9 Scranton (15-1-2, 9-0-0 LC), Moravian (8-4-6, 3-2-4 LC)
• The Royals complete the regular season undefeated in conference play and will be the No. 1 seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament.  

How it Happened

• The Royals out shot Moravian 11-1 in the first half and forced a pair of saves out of Moravian's goalie Riley Spingler.
• Senior goalkeeper Nicole Olson made her lone save of the game in the 32nd minute.
• In the 89th minute, senior Emily Bannon served a ball into the box that found Mulholland who ripped a first time shot with her right foot past Spingler and into the bottom left corner of the net. The goal proved to be the difference in the match as Scranton went on to win 1-0. 

Top Performers

• Mulholland recorded her fourth goal of the season which ranks tied for second on the team.
• Bannon picked up her fifth assist of the year which leads the Royals and ranks tied for fifth in the conference. 
• Olson and the Scranton back line recorded their sixth straight shutout win and 13th shutout of the season.

• The Royals held a dominant 22-1 advantage in shots and an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.
