The University of Scranton Executive Director of Athletics Dave Martin has announced that ZJ Morse has been named Sports Information Director, effective Monday, November 25.

Morse has served as the Interim Sports Information Director since September 2024, and previously served as the Assistant Sports Information Director from March 2022-August 2024. 

"ZJ has done an outstanding job of steadying the ship and moving things forward in the Sports Information department. He has implemented positive change and has provided outstanding leadership. We are excited and looking forward to continued growth in this area," Martin said.

Morse came to Scranton after spending the 2021-22 season as the Graduate Assistant for Sports Information at King's College. During his time at King's, Morse served as the primary contact for 7 of the Monarchs' 29 sports and provided statistical/gameday coverage as well as assisting in the maintenance of the athletics website and social media accounts.

A 2020 graduate of Wilkes University, Morse graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in marketing and minor in management. During his time at Wilkes, he interned with the sports information department and the marketing & communications department. He was also a four-year member of the Wilkes men's soccer team.
