On the day, the Royals honored the team's 13 seniors for their contributions and dedication to the program. Five different seniors were responsible for scoring ten of the seventeen total goals for the home team.

Junior Grace Lane (Long Beach, N.Y. / Sacred Heart Academy) got the scoring started for the Royals with her 39th goal of the season at the 9:49 mark of the first quarter. Fellow junior Catherine McGlynn (Medford, N.J. / Shawnee) followed suit three minutes later and the rout was on for the Royals, who scored five more times in the quarter and led this game 7-1 going to the second.

The trio of seniors in Tara Kotten (New City, N.Y. / Clarkstown South), Kayleigh Stalter (Lynbrook, N.Y. / Lynbrook), and McKenna Moore (Bridgewater, N.J. / Bridgewater-Raritan) each added a goal in the second quarter, sending the Royals to halftime with a commanding 10-1 lead.

To begin the third, two goals from freshman Eileen Hewitt (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown East) and another goal from Lane extended the Royals lead to 13-1 as they ran away with this one.
