SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton volleyball team went 2-0 on Saturday during the final day of the Electric City Invite, defeating both Haverford and Stevenson in three straight sets. The Royals finished the weekend 2-1, losing only to Wesleyan University on Friday.

Game 1 vs. Haverford

The Basics

• Final Score: 3-0W (25-18, 25-21, 25-20)
• Records: Scranton (7-6), Haverford (6-8)

How it Happened

• The Royals defeated the Fords in three straight sets, winning the first 25-18, second 25-21, and third set 25-20.

Top Performers

• Freshman Kassidy Means recorded a game-high 12 kills for the Royals.
• Freshman Danielle Kramer tallied 4 blocks to lead Scranton.
• Sophomore Cammi Quirk finished with 16 assists.

• Scranton outscored the Fords in kills 40-25. 
• The Royals also dished out 39 assists. 

Game 2 vs. Stevenson

• Records: Scranton (8-6), Stevenson (8-6)

How it Happened

• Scranton won each set by at least 9 points to sweep the Mustangs Saturday evening. The Royals won the first set 25-16, second 25-15, and finished the day with a dominant 25-14 third set.

Top Performers

• Senior Erin Keaveney, junior Erin Gretsky, and Means each recorded 9 kills to lead the Royals.
• Senior Maddie Orth had 4 blocks, and junior Camryn Hoffman recorded a game-high 16 digs.

• The Royals had 7 blocks during the match, while the Mustangs only recorded 3.
• Scranton also served more aces than Stevenson, finishing with 9.
