CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The University of Scranton men's golf team battled through windy and challenging conditions on Thursday afternoon to earn a 317–344 victory over Wilkes University at Glen Oak Country Club.

Cade Kelleher led the way for the Royals with a 77, followed by Jack Leonard with a 78. Richard Essen and Luke Merlan each turned in 81s to complete the team scoring, while Joe Ciufo and Matthew Braunlich added 83s.

Despite strong winds throughout the round, Scranton's depth and consistency proved to be the difference, as all six golfers finished within six strokes of one another.

With the victory, Scranton continues its steady play this fall and gains momentum heading into the Landmark Conference Fall Preview on October 25–26 at Shawnee Golf Course in Shawnee on the Delaware, Pa.
