The University of Scranton women's soccer team has earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Pinnacle Award for the 2024–25 academic year — becoming one of just 14 college programs in the nation across all three NCAA divisions to receive the honor.

Announced by United Soccer Coaches earlier this week, the award recognizes programs that achieve outstanding success in three key areas: sportsmanship, academic excellence, and on-field performance.
Now in its seventh year, the Team Pinnacle Award is presented only to teams that:

Receive a Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award (Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze level)

Earn the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

Record a winning percentage of .750 or higher during the season
The Royals met all three criteria during an exceptional 2024–25 campaign, continuing to uphold a tradition of excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
