The University of Scranton women's soccer team continues to earn regional recognition for its impressive play this season, coming in at No. 3 in the NCAA Region V Rankings.Â
The Royals sit atop the Landmark Conference standings with a perfect 5–0 conference record and are 10–2–2 overall.Â
Defensively, Scranton has been dominant, allowing just eight goals all season — the fewest in the Landmark. On the other end, the Royals rank second in the conference with 32 goals and 23 assists, showcasing one of the most balanced lineups in the region.
Junior forward Jenna Borelli has led the charge offensively, ranking tied for fourth in the Landmark with seven goals this season.
In goal, junior Makenzie Van Arsdale leads the conference in both goals against average (.602) and shutouts (7).
Under head coach Colleen Pivirotto, Scranton has combined consistency, discipline, and depth to emerge as one of the premier programs in the region.
The Royals currently rank 29th in the NCAA NPI Rankings and are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll.Â
