The University of Scranton women's soccer team had seven student-athletes earn All-Landmark Conference honors, as announced by the conference office today.
Scranton collected three of the league's four major awards, as Jenna Borelli was named Offensive Player of the Year, Aileen Carr earned Defensive Player of the Year, and head coach Colleen Pivirotto and assistant coach Blake Mullen were recognized as the Coaching Staff of the Year.
The Royals captured their sixth consecutive Landmark title with a 1-0 victory over Catholic on November 8 and will open NCAA Tournament play this Saturday against Carnegie Mellon in Lexington, Va.Â
Jenna Borelli – Offensive Player of the Year / First Team Forward
- Jenna Borelli earns Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors after leading Scranton with eight goals and four assists (20 points) this fall.
- She paced an attacking front that scored 43 goals in 20 matches and ranked among the top offenses in the Landmark.
- Borelli becomes the fifth consecutive and ninth overall Royal to earn Landmark Offensive Player of the Year recognition.
- This marks the first All-Conference selection of her career.
Aileen Carr – Defensive Player of the Year / First Team Defender
- Aileen Carr collects her second straight First Team All-Conference honor and was named the Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
- The former Landmark Rookie of the Year anchored a back line that allowed no goals in conference play and just eight total all season.
- Carr also contributed two goals and one assist (5 points) in 20 starts, serving as a threat on set pieces.
- She becomes the first Royal to win the award since 2018 and the eighth in program history to be recognized as the league's top defender.
- Makenzie Van Arsdale earns First Team All-Conference honors for the first time in her career after another outstanding season in goal.
- She led the Landmark Conference in shutouts (10) and goals-against average (0.442), while posting a .818 save percentage.
- Her organization and consistency were pivotal in directing a defensive unit that allowed just eight goals in 20 matches.
- Morgan Griffin earns First Team All-Conference recognition for the first time after serving as the centerpiece of Scranton's midfield.
- She tallied four goals and five assists (13 points) and led the Royals with 57 total shots, while also delivering the free kick that led to the game-winner in the Landmark title match.
- Her set-piece accuracy and composure fueled the Royals' possession and attacking rhythm all season.
Molly Martys – Second Team Midfielder
- Molly Martys earns Second Team All-Conference honors for the first time after a strong two-way campaign in Scranton's midfield.
- She totaled three goals and three assists (9 points) while starting all 20 matches, providing consistent ball-winning and distribution on both sides of the field.
- Alexis Ocasio earns Second Team recognition for the first time following a strong campaign on the Royals' back line.
- She started all 20 games, added three assists, and helped the defense post 13 total shutouts, including a perfect record in Landmark play.
- Addison Van Lenten earns Second Team All-Conference honors for the first time after starting all 20 matches.
- She contributed three goals and three assists (9 points) and helped anchor a defense that led the Landmark in both GAA and shutouts.

- Scranton's coaching staff captured its fifth straight Coaching Staff of the Year award after leading the Royals to their 12th Landmark Conference title.
