LEXINGTON, Va. – The University of Scranton women's soccer team saw its season come to an end on Saturday afternoon, falling 1-0 to Carnegie Mellon University in the First Round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament at Watt Field.

How It Happened
- Scranton battled throughout but was unable to overcome an early goal from the Tartans. Carnegie Mellon struck in the 14th minute when Audrey Bianco found the back of the net to give CMU a 1-0 advantage.
- The Royals worked to generate chances in the second half, outshooting the Tartans 6-5 after halftime and creating several dangerous moments in the attacking third. Scranton earned six corner kicks on the afternoon but was unable to find the equalizer.
