- Scranton's Annie Shaw got the Royals on the board early as she scored her 15th goal of the year just 1:19 into the contest.
- Sophomore Lydia Bechtel gave the Royals some insurance in the fifth minute of second quarter when she grabbed a rebound and fired a shot into the back of the cage to make it 2-0 Royals.
