SCRANTON, PA - The University of Scranton women's volleyball team cruised past Lycoming College, 3-0, in the team's first Landmark Conference match of the season Friday night at The John Long Center.

- Scranton came out strong in the first set, posting a .298 hitting percentage and winning the first set 25-11.
- The Royals recorded a .267 hitting percentage and Adria Vargas tallied four service aces in a row as Scranton took an 8-0 lead. They dominated the rest of the set, taking a 2-0 series lead with a strong 25-11 set win.
- Scranton closed out the match in the third set with a 25-15 victory. Gwen Koester recorded four kills in the set, and led the game Cammi Quirk tallied 14 assists. The Royals hit .158 as a team and completed the sweep in the first Conference match of the year.
