TOWSON, MD — The University of Scranton women's soccer team earned its eighth victory of the season as the Royals soundly defeated Goucher College, 6-0, on Saturday afternoon at Beldon Field in Towson, Md.

How It Happened
- Scranton took a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute of the match as sophomore Aileen Carr drilled a shot into the top left corner of the net for her first career goal.
- Just 52 seconds later, the Royals struck again. This time it was sophomore Molly Martys gaining possession inside the box and burying the shot to double the lead to 2-0.
- Senior Morgan Griffin was in perfect position to grab a rebound and score to extend the lead to 3-0 just 4:55 into the second half.
- Scranton junior Libby Masterson added to the lead in the 61st minute as she scored her second goal of the season to make it a 4-0 game.
- The Royals scored again just 1:49 seconds after the Masterson goal to go ahead by five goals on sophomore Natalia Dobush's first career goal.
- With 5:46 left in the match, Scranton scored its sixth goal of the game as sophomore Nicole Schulingkamp found the back of the net for her first career goal.
