SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton men's basketball team earned a 90-63 win over Goucher College in Landmark Conference action on Saturday afternoon at the John Long Center.

How it Happened
- Goucher started the game off strong with a 7-0 run, forcing Scranton to call a timeout at the 17:22 mark in the first half.
- After trailing 14-6 at the 14:07 mark, the Royals went on an 14-0 run to take a 20-14 lead. Junior Jon Spatola scored eight points during the run.
- Scranton went on an 8-0 run late in the opening half to go up 30-18 with 3:16 remaining.
- Senior Will McLoughlin with six straight points to give Scranton a 39-24 advantage at halftime.
- Spatola and graduate student Tahaj Parland scored back-to-back layups to open up the second half and put the Royals up 19.
- Freshman Max Lebisky put Scranton up 22 with a pair of buckets in the paint at the 16 minute mark.
- The Royals went on a 7-0 run midway through the second half to take their largest lead of the game, 69-40 with 7:38 remaining.
- Scranton's bench kept things rolling to close out the game as sophomore Brendan Carr and junior Luca Baratta each hit late threes.

- Spatola stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, seven rebounds, six assists and five steals.
- Freshman Sammy Tornabene scored in double figures for the seventh straight game with 10 points.
- Senior Cameron Khoza hit three three pointers for nine points.
