SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team fell to No. 13 Dickinson College in the home opener on Saturday afternoon at Weiss Field, 7-2.

How it Happened
- Sophomore goalie Carsen Kirchner made two saves early in the first quarter, but Dickinson finally broke through and scored the game's first goal with 3:37 left in the first. The Red Devils added another goal less than one minute later, taking a 2-0 lead.
- Dickinson added their third goal of the game 34 seconds into the second period, extending the lead to 3-0.
- Scranton made its first shot of the second quarter count, as junior Jason Kozak scored his first goal of the season to cut the lead to 3-1. Dickinson answered quickly, however, restoring the lead to three goals 1:40 later.
- With 6:29 left in the second, Kozak struck again, taking a feed from junior Kyle Holmes and finding the back of the net to cut Dickinson's lead down to 4-2.
- The Red Devils scored two more goals at the end of the quarter, including a goal with just one second left on the clock as they took a 6-2 lead into the half.
- Dickinson scored their seventh goal of the game in the 12th minute of the third quarter.
- The Royals' offense was blanked in the second half, while Kirchner made 14 more saves, including eight in the third and six in the fourth.
