SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton women's lacrosse team dropped its second straight game, losing 13-4 on the road to York College on Wednesday night.

How it Happened
- York opened the scoring just 51 seconds in the contest, taking a 1-0 lead with 14:09 left in the first quarter.
- Graduate student Devyn Tanajewski got the Royals even with 5:25 to go in the first, tying the score at 1-1.
- York responded with three goals in the final 3:15 of the of the first, taking a 4-1 lead into the second.
- The Spartans scored five goals in the second quarter, all while keeping Scranton's offense off the board, extending their lead to 9-1 at halftime.
- York scored two goals at the top of the third quarter before graduate student Erin Reich took a feed from senior Grace Lane and scored, breaking York's streak of 10 unanswered goals.
- After the Spartans scored with 37 seconds left in the third quarter, sophomore Jillian Lopez scored a goal assisted by classmate Eileen Hewitt to bring the lead down to 11-2.
- York answered right back under three minutes later.
- Lopez scored again with 1:33 to go, assisted by Hewitt again, but York held on to win 13-4.
