WASHINGTON, DC -- The University of Scranton men's basketball team fell in Landmark Conference action to Catholic University on Saturday, 73-46.

How it Happened
- Catholic opened up the game with an 19-3 run.
- Consecutive buckets from junior Jon Spatola and senior Will McLoughlin got Scranton within 12 at 7:44 mark in the first half.
- Following an 11-0 run from Catholic late in the first half, sophomore Nick Ruisi hit a three for the Royals.Â
- The Cardinals shot 51% from the field in the opening half and held a 43-16 lead at halftime.Â
- Spatola scored the opening points of the second half with a layup off a feed from Ruisi.Â
- Senior Mason Thompson connected from deep at the 13:05 mark.Â
