SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team posted a dominant 22-1 win over Juniata College in the Landmark Conference opener at Weiss Field on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- Scranton got off to strong start with an 8-0 run in the first period to open up the game. Six different Royals found the back of the net in the first quarter, led by junior Quinn Carson and sophomore Myles McCutcheon with two each.Â
- Junior Kyle Holmes recorded his 100th career point on a goal at the 12:11 mark in the second period.
- Holmes scored three goals in the second period, McCutcheon added two, and freshman John Kearns scored the first goal of his career as Scranton led 14-1 at the end of the first half.Â
- The Royals put up four goals in the third quarter and held the Eagles scoreless to take an 18-1 lead with one period remaining. Freshmen Brian Kraemer and David Dubas each scored their first career goals in the third while fellow freshman Cooper Roberts and junior Eric Reisenwitz each added goals for Scranton.Â
- Kraemer tacked on two more goals in the fourth to secure a hat trick. Kearns notched his second goal of the game and freshman Sam Stewart scored his first career goal as a Royal to cap off the 22-1 conference victory.
