SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team posted a dominant Landmark Conference win over Wilkes University on Wednesday, 25-5.

- With the win, the Royals have clinched the top seed in the Landmark Conference playoffs.
How it Happened
- Scranton out scored Wilkes 9-0 in the first period to take a commanding lead. Junior Jason Kozak led the way with three first quarter goals. Senior Riley Kahill, junior Quinn Carson, and freshman David Dubas each added two goals in the first.
- The Royals held a 16-1 lead at halftime as they added seven more goals in the second quarter, including a pair from freshman Andrew Danowski which marked the first of his career. Fellow freshman John Kearns also scored two goals in the second period.
- Scranton tacked on three more goals in the third quarter, including the first career goals for freshmen Sean Monaghan and Jack O'Hora.
- The Royals out scored the Colonels 6-2 in the final period to close out the 25-5 victory.

- Kozak led the Royals with five points on four goals and one assist.
