SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team won its sixth straight game as it took down Drew University 12-4 on Wednesday evening at Weiss Field.

How it Happened
- Scranton scored at the 13:52 mark in the first quarter as junior Jason Kozak found the back of the net to put the Royals ahead 1-0.
- Just 2:16 later, junior Pat McCormack found sophomore Myles McCutcheon, who wrapped around the goal and scored to make it 2-0.
- Junior Quinn Carson scored the Royals' third goal of the game with 8:01 left in the first quarter, finding space in traffic and ripping the shot on the run to extend the lead to 3-0.
- McCutcheon scored his second of the game as he wrapped around the goal and scored the fourth goal of the game for Scranton.
- With 4:02 left in the first, sophomore Brendan Donohue found junior Kyle Holmes who fired a shot from deep into the top of the net to give the Royals a 5-0 advantage.
- Carson connected with senior Riley Kahill who scored his first of the game to give Scranton a 6-0 edge with 1:05 to play in the first quarter.
- In the sixth minute of the second quarter, McCutcheon cashed in for his third goal of the game. Just 31 seconds later, Holmes took a feed from senior Jonathan Mayan and buried the shot, making the score 8-0 Scranton.
- Drew ended Scranton's streak of eight straight goals with its first of the game at the 5:19 mark of the second period.
- Carson extended the lead to 9-1 as he scored his second goal of the game with 2:39 left in the half.
- Scranton scored its 10th goal of the game at the 11:44 mark of the third quarter when McCutcheon connected with McCormack who scored to make it 10-1. McCutcheon then scored himself, assisted by Holmes, to make it 11-1.
- After Drew scored its second goal of the game at the 6:21 mark, McCutcheon scored his fifth goal of the game to get it back 1:21 later.
- Drew scored a pair of goals in the fourth as Scranton won 12-4.
