Women's Tennis Ends Strong Season with Loss to Stevens in NCAA First Round, 4-0

PITTSBURGH, PA -- The University of Scranton women's tennis team capped off a historic season with a 4-0 loss to Stevens Institute of Technology in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday morning at host Carnegie Mellon University.

Doubles

At No. 1, the team of senior Mayjah Jean-Pierre and sophomore Gisele Falzone dropped a 6-3 contest.
The Ducks won the No. 3 match by a score of 6-1 to secure the doubles point.

Singles

Stevens closed out the match by winning the No.2, No. 3, and No. 6 singles matches.

This season, the Royals captured their fifth Landmark title in program history and their first since 2018.
