PITTSBURGH, PA -- The University of Scranton women's tennis team capped off a historic season with a 4-0 loss to Stevens Institute of Technology in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday morning at host Carnegie Mellon University.
Doubles
- At No. 1, the team of senior Mayjah Jean-Pierre and sophomore Gisele Falzone dropped a 6-3 contest.Â
- The Ducks won the No. 3 match by a score of 6-1 to secure the doubles point.Â
Singles
- Stevens closed out the match by winning the No.2, No. 3, and No. 6 singles matches.
This season, the Royals captured their fifth Landmark title in program history and their first since 2018.Â
