Senior Gisele Falzone of the University of Scranton women's tennis team has been named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office. 

This marks the third Landmark Athlete of the Week selection the Wilkes Barre, Pa., native, who was last honored on Sept. 15. 

Falzone led the Royals to a 7-0 victory over Marywood with wins at No. 1 singles (6-1, 6-1) and No. 1 doubles (6-1). The senior boasts a 3-1 record at No. 1 singles, and 3-0 record at No. 1 doubles so far this year.

Falzone and the Royals will wrap up their fall season at the Wilkes Doubles Invitational, Sunday, Oct. 18 at Wilkes University.
