How it Happened
- Scranton struck just 48 seconds into the match to grab an early lead. Off a short corner kick, Logan Campbell rose up and headed home a perfectly delivered ball from Alex Kozdron, putting the Royals on the board almost instantly.
- Less than five minutes later, Drew Paxson capitalized on a Kean defensive error. After a failed clearance from the back line, Paxson stepped into the loose ball at the top of the box and fired a first-time strike into the lower corner to double Scranton's lead in the 6th minute.
- The Royals continued to control possession and limit Kean's chances before adding two more goals in the second half. Owen Potter scored his first career goal in the 72nd minute off a clean setup from Nick Suraci, who then assisted James Mayo just five minutes later to make it 4-0.
