SCRANTON, PA – The University of Scranton men's soccer team delivered a gritty and composed performance on Saturday afternoon, earning a 1–1 draw against nationally ranked No. 2 Rowan University in a high-level non-conference matchup at Weiss Field.

How it Happened
- The Royals made an immediate statement, scoring just over two minutes into the match. Jake Acosta capitalized on a rebound following a shot from Matt Capretto to open the scoring on the day.
- Scranton's defense held strong for much of the match, frustrating a high-powered Rowan attack. The Profs found the equalizer in the 72nd minute, as Davide Caputo ripped a shot into the top right corner assisted by Johnny Troiano to level the score at 1–1.
