GALLOWAY, NJ – The University of Scranton field hockey team fought hard and forced overtime, but fell to Stockton University 3–2 in a thrilling penalty shootout following a tied battle at Stockton Turf Field on Saturday afternoon.

- Stockton struck first in the second quarter with a deflected shot from Carlee Thompson at 25:42, assisted by Kirsten Bailey. The Ospreys extended their lead early in the third quarter with Bailey's penalty corner blast at 50:06.
- Scranton mounted a late comeback in the fourth quarter, as Kiera Lamb scored her first goal of the season at 52:14 on a rebound, followed by Olivia Dougherty's goal at 59:33, shoveling in a loose ball to even the score and force overtime.
