Scranton Women's Volleyball Outlasts Eastern in Five-Set Thriller

SCRANTON, PA – The University of Scranton women's volleyball team earned a hard-fought five-set victory over Eastern University on Friday evening at the John Long Center, topping the Eagles by a 3–2 score in non-conference action.

  • Eastern edged out the opening set, 26–24, despite Scranton outhitting the Eagles .244 to .109.

  • Eastern forced a fifth set with a 25–21 win in the fourth.
