Scranton Wrestling Announces 2025–26 Schedule

The University of Scranton wrestling team has announced its 2025–26 schedule, which features a competitive mix of invitationals, dual meets, and regional rivalries. The Royals will look to build momentum throughout the season as they aim to compete at a high level on the regional stage.

The season gets underway on Sunday, November 2, as the Royals travel to Williamsport, PA, for the Lycoming Invitational, a staple early-season tournament that will set the tone for the year.

Scranton heads south the following weekend for a tri-meet on November 9 in Winchester, VA, where they will take on host Shenandoah University and Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. On November 13, the Royals will stay close to home with a road trip across town to face Lackawanna College in a Thursday night matchup.

The Royals return to the John Long Center on November 16 to host the annual Electric City Duals, a full-day event that will bring several regional programs to Scranton. Later that month, they'll travel to Albright College on November 22 to close out their November slate.

In December, the Royals will compete at the Blue Jay Invitational at Elizabethtown College on December 6, followed by the Wilkes Open on December 19 in Wilkes-Barre — a valuable tournament to gain experience ahead of the spring semester.

The new year begins with a home meet against Bergen Community College on January 10, before Scranton heads to Allentown, PA, for the Muhlenberg Quad Meet on January 17.

February opens with a return to Williamsport on February 1 for the Rennie Rodarmel Invitational, followed by a road match at Wilkes University on February 5. The Royals will then host back-to-back home events: the U of S Duals on February 8, and a local dual match against Misericordia University on February 15 to close out the regular season.

With a full and challenging schedule ahead, Head Coach Al Russomano and the Royals are primed for a strong season of development, competition, and growth as they continue to establish themselves in the regional wrestling scene.
