The University of Scranton men's basketball program is excited to welcome a strong and versatile freshman class to the Royals roster for the 2025-26 season. Head Coach Carl Danzig officially announced the addition of five incoming student-athletes who bring championship experience, high-level skill sets, and competitive toughness to the program.
Meet the 2025-26 Freshman Class
Josias Carbon
Guard | 6'2" | DePaul Catholic
An explosive and smart back-court presence, Josias Carbon was a key piece in DePaul Catholic's run to the 2025 Passaic County Championship. He earned All-League, All-County, and Team MVP honors as a senior. At 6'2" and 180 pounds, Carbon combines strength, shot-making, and strong defensive ability, giving the Royals a well-rounded option at the guard spot. He enters the University as an Undecided major.
Dante Regan
Guard | 6'1" | Immaculata High School
A tough and confident two-way guard, Dante Regan joins Scranton after a successful high school career as a two-year starter at Immaculata High School in New Jersey. A dual-threat backcourt presence, Regan can handle the ball, make the right reads in pressure situations, and stretch the floor with his three-point shooting. His competitive edge and offensive versatility make him a strong addition to the Royals' guard rotation.
Tommy Nahill
Center/Forward | 6'8" | Holy Ghost Prep
Nahill brings a strong post presence and a winning pedigree to Scranton after helping lead Holy Ghost Prep to the PIAA 5A Second Round of the State Playoffs and a District 1 5A Championship Game appearance in 2025. Standing at 6'8", Nahill adds size, rebounding, and interior defense. Off the court, he earned Second Honors and plans to major in Business Administration.
Duke Cloran
Guard | 6'2" | The Haverford School
Cloran brings strong fundamentals and basketball IQ from a well-respected program at The Haverford School. Known for his decision-making and versatility, Cloran can impact the game both as a primary ball-handler and an off-ball scorer. His size and defensive awareness make him a reliable option in the backcourt. He will study Business Analytics at Scranton.
Ben Robinson
Guard | 6'1" | Conestoga High School
A dynamic and decorated backcourt addition, Benjamin Robinson joins the Royals after leading Conestoga High School to the 2025 District 1 Championship. A Team MVP and All-League selection for three consecutive years (2023–2025), he also earned All-Main Line honors in 2025. Robinson is known for his poise, playmaking, and scoring ability, and he enters Scranton as an Undecided major.
