BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The University of Scranton men's track and field team posted multiple finals appearances and competitive finishes on Saturday at the Moravian University Blue & Grey Invite, highlighted by a top-eight sprint finish and a finals effort in the hurdles.
In the 60 meters, Luciano Fiorenza advanced to the finals after qualifying in the prelims and finished seventh overall with a time of 7.35 in the final. Philip Danchik (7.54) and Cael Krushnowski (7.55) also competed in the preliminary rounds of the event.
Krushnowski added another strong performance in the 60-meter hurdles, qualifying for the finals and placing sixth overall with a time of 9.63, earning a top-six finish against a deep field.
In the distance events, Brayden Clarke led the Royals in the 3000 meters, crossing the line in 8:57.40 to finish 12th overall. Jackson Morris followed with a time of 9:53.44, continuing Scranton's presence in the longer races.
The Royals produced finals finishes in both sprint and hurdle events as they continued building momentum early in the indoor season.
