MADISON, N.J. -- The University of Scranton men's basketball team fell 79–65 at Drew University in Landmark Conference action Wednesday evening.

How it Happened
- Drew jumped out to an early advantage, knocking down a pair of three-pointers in the opening minutes to take a 15–8 lead over the Royals.
- Scranton responded midway through the first half as freshman Ben Robinson connected from deep to cut the deficit to two at the 9:29 mark. Less than a minute later, junior Brendan Carr finished a layup to knot the game at 19–19, but the Rangers answered with a 5–0 run to regain control.
- After falling behind 31–23 with just over six minutes remaining in the half, the Royals caught fire. Sparked by nine points from sophomore Sammy Tornabene, Scranton closed the half on a 15–2 run to take a 38–33 lead into the locker room.
- Drew opened the second half with a 9–0 run to reclaim a 42–38 advantage. The Rangers pushed the lead to double figures twice in the middle stages of the half, but Carr responded both times with three-pointers to keep Scranton within striking distance.
- Freshman Josias Carbon provided a highlight moment for the Royals with a put-back dunk late in the second half.
- Drew pulled away for good at the seven-minute mark, extending its lead to double digits and closing out a 79–65 victory.
