The University of Scranton men's golf team improved to 4-0 on the season with a home dual match victory over King's College at Glen Oak Country Club on Thursday afternoon, winning by a final score of 294-325.
Cade Kelleher led the way for the Royals and earned medalist honors with an even par round of 72 that included four birdies. Jake Lairdieson finished one stroke behind with a 73 (+1) and five birdies, while Jack Leonard carded a 74 (+2) with four birdies. Richard Essen rounded out the scoring group for Scranton with a 75 (+3) that featured three birdies.
Brayden Meditz (76), Joey Dell (78) and Marshall Kain (80) completed the lineup for the Royals.
The Royals return to action on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 p.m. for a dual match against Wilkes University at Huntsville Golf Club in Dallas, Pa.
