The University of Scranton field hockey team moved to 2-0 in Landmark Conference play with a win over Goucher College, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon in Towson, Md.

How it Happened
- Scranton got on the board midway through the first quarter, converting on a penalty corner attempt. Maggie Keys sent a shot toward the cage that Maddie Slavin tipped in to give the Royals an early 1-0 lead.
- The Royals doubled their advantage three minutes later when Slavin directed a ball toward the cage that Shana Goldsmith deflected into the net to make it 2-0.
- Scranton converted another penalty corner five minutes into the second period. Slavin inserted the ball to Keys on the wing, who fired a shot that Anna Capelli deflected into the cage to extend the Royals' lead to 3-0.
- With 4:25 remaining in the second period, Goucher found the back of the net to cut the Royals' lead to 3-1.
- The Royals added another goal 4:51 into the third quarter when Olivia Dougherty scored off an assist from Keys to push the lead to 4-1.
- With 6:30 remaining in the fourth quarter, Scranton capitalized on yet another penalty corner. Keys' initial shot was collected by Dougherty, who flicked a pass to Slavin, who finished to give the Royals a 5-1 advantage.
- Scranton added its sixth goal with just a few minutes remaining when Alyssa Ciminiello fired a shot that Gracie Buchholz tipped into the cage to seal the scoring at 6-1.
