The University of Scranton field hockey team won its fourth straight game after defeating Lycoming College, 7-0, on Tuesday evening in Williamsport, Pa.

How it Happened
- Scranton wasted no time getting on the board, scoring just 35 seconds into the contest. Olivia Dougherty's initial shot was saved, but Shana Goldsmith collected the rebound and fired it home to give the Royals an early 1-0 lead.
- Goldsmith added her second goal of the night with 3:42 remaining in the first period, carrying the ball through the Warriors' defense before beating the Lyco keeper to double Scranton's lead.
- The Royals scored their third goal of the night 4:30 into the second frame, when Ava De Natale directed the loose ball into the back of the cage to push Scranton's edge to three.
- With 5:40 remaining in the third quarter, Goldsmith collected the ball at the top of the circle and, with one hand on her stick, maneuvered around the diving Warriors' keeper before burying the easy finish to put Scranton ahead 4-0.
- Maggie Keys joined the scoring midway through the third period, firing a shot from the wing past Lycoming's keeper to extend the Royals' lead to five goals.
- Keys added her second goal of the game on a penalty corner attempt 8:04 into the fourth frame, firing a shot into the cage off an insertion from Maddie Slavin. Just 46 seconds later, Keys completed the hat trick and capped off the scoring for the night, burying another shot to make the final score 7-0.
