No. 12 Men’s Soccer Set to Host Juniata in Landmark Conference Semifinals

The No. 1 seed University of Scranton men's soccer team will host No. 4 seed Juniata College at Weiss Field on Wednesday, November 4 at 4:00 PM in the Landmark Conference Semifinals.

Scranton enters the semifinal matchup with a 13-1-3 overall record and a perfect 9-0 mark in Landmark Conference play, earning the top seed in the tournament. The Royals will look to return to the Landmark Championship game for the seventh time in program history and the first since capturing the title in 2022.

Juniata enters the contest at 10-6-2 overall and 5-3-1 in conference action after playing to a 1-1 draw with No. 5 Drew before advancing with a 4-1 penalty kick victory in Saturday's first-round matchup. The Eagles will look to advance to the championship for the third time in program history and claim their first Landmark title.

The Royals and Eagles met earlier this season at Weiss Field, where James Mayo scored the game-winning goal to lead Scranton to a 1-0 victory. Scranton and Juniata have met once previously in Landmark Conference postseason play, with the Eagles claiming a 1-0 victory over the Royals in the 2024 semifinal.

The winner of Wednesday's semifinal match will advance to the Landmark Championship on Saturday against the winner of No. 2 seed Moravian University and No. 3 seed Catholic.
