ORLANDO, FL — The University of Scranton men's tennis team opened its spring season with a 4–0 victory over Western Connecticut State University Wolves on Sunday afternoon in Orlando, Florida.

How It Happened
- The Royals started strong in doubles play, winning two of the three matches to secure the opening point.
- At No. 1 doubles, Max Dombrowski and Ethan Borick earned a 6–4 victory over Aidan Burke and Jose Zambrano. Scranton also captured the No. 2 doubles match as Harrison Clark and Lucas Kotcho posted a convincing 6–1 win against Jack Buck and John Araujo. WestConn claimed the No. 3 doubles match.
- Scranton carried that momentum into singles play, winning three matches to clinch the overall victory.
- Kotcho led the way with an 8–1 win at No. 3 singles, while Clark followed with an 8–1 victory at No. 4 singles. The Royals sealed the match at No. 6 singles where Benjamin Blum recorded an 8–3 win to secure the 4–0 result.
- Three additional singles matches were in progress but went unfinished due to weather after Scranton had already clinched the match.
