Kranson and Romanowski Earn WBCA All-America Honors Ahead of Lady Royals’ Final Four Showdown

The Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced its NCAA Division III award winners for the 2025-26 season on Thursday, with multiple members of The University of Scranton women's basketball team earning national recognition.

WBCA All-Americans & Coach Recognition:

Kaci Kranson (Sr., G) — All-America Team

  • 18.4 PPG, 171 REB, .515 FG%, .438 3PT%
  • Scored double figures in all but two games
  • Landmark Conference Player of the Year
  • D3Hoops.com Region V Player of the Year
  • First Team All-Region & All-Conference
  • 13 points shy of 2,000 career points
  • Third career WBCA All-America selection

Kaeli Romanowski (Sr., G) — All-America Honorable Mention

  • 5.2 PPG, 175 REB, 125 AST, 119 STL
  • Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year
  • First Team All-Conference
  • D3Hoops.com All-Region First Team
  • Set program & Landmark single-season steals record
  • Ranks third nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio
  • First career WBCA All-America selection
Ben O'Brien — Coach of the Year Finalist
  • WBCA NCAA Division III Coach of the Year finalist
  • Led Scranton to a 31-0 record and NCAA Final Four appearance
  • Fastest coach in NCAA history to reach 100 career wins (106 games)
