TOWSON, MD -- The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team dominated on the road, earning a 17-4 victory over Goucher College on Saturday afternoon at Towson, MD.

How it Happened

• Scranton opened the game with a fast start, scoring four unanswered goals in the first quarter. Chase Ritcey netted the game's first goal at 12:11, followed by Kyle Holmes, who scored unassisted at 10:58 to make it 2-0. Ritcey added his second goal at 6:36, assisted by Quinn Carson, and Holmes capped the period with a tally from David Dubas to give the Royals a 4-0 lead.
• The Royals carried the momentum into the second quarter, with Jason Kozak scoring at 14:29 and Brian Kraemer following 1 second later off an assist from Shawn Martin to push the lead to 6-0. David Dubas and Kraemer each added goals before Goucher finally got on the board at 5:52 with a goal from Jacob Morgan.
