The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team turned in a record-breaking offensive performance, defeating Lycoming College 31-2 on Wednesday afternoon at home. The 31 goals mark a new program record for goals in a single game.

How It Happened
- Scranton dominated from the opening faceoff, racing out to a 12-0 lead after the first quarter. Senior attacker Quinn Carson opened the scoring, and the Royals followed with goals from nine different players in the period. Senior Kyle Holmes led the early charge with a hat trick in the first, while Brian Kraemer added a goal and two assists in the frame.
- The Royals continued their offensive surge in the second quarter, adding eight more goals to take a 20-0 lead into halftime. Holmes finished the half with five goals, while Andrew Danowski scored twice in the closing minutes of the quarter to help extend the advantage.
- Danowski struck again just 47 seconds into the third quarter to push the lead to 21-0. Lycoming broke through with a pair of goals in the period, but Scranton responded with five of its own, including two from Eamonn Twomey and another from Myles McCutcheon.
- Scranton closed out the game with five goals in the fourth quarter. Sean Monaghan opened the scoring in the period off an assist from Twomey, who later added his third goal of the game. The Royals' depth continued to shine as 15 different players found the back of the net.
