The University of Scranton men's track and field team kicked off the 2026 outdoor campaign with several strong individual performances at the Jim Taylor Duals, hosted by Susquehanna University on March 27-28.
The Royals set 26 top-10 times in program history over the weekend.
Dylan Walsh highlighted the weekend for the Royals with a first-place finish in the 10,000m, crossing the line in 34:54.33.
Scranton also saw success in distance events, as Brayden Clarke recorded a second-place finish in the 5,000m with a time of 15:25.79. Jackson Morris added a podium finish, placing third in the 3,000m steeplechase in 10:55.47.
On the track, Brian Hard finished seventh in the 400m with a time of 50.80 seconds, while Shane Hermosisima took sixth in the 100m (11.14). Owen Pollock rounded out the sprint performances with a seventh-place finish in the 200m at 22.57 seconds.
The Royals will look to build on their early-season momentum as they continue the outdoor schedule at the York College Twilight Meet on Wednesday, April 1.
