ITHACA, N.Y.– Grace DiDominica's game-winning goal and a career day from Jillian Lopez lifted the No. 17 University of Scranton women's lacrosse team to a thrilling 15-14 double-overtime victory over No. 25 Ithaca College at Higgins Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

  • Ithaca closed the first period with three straight goals to take a 5-3 lead into the second quarter.
  • After Kelly Augeri scored her third goal of the game at the 10:16 mark of the second quarter to make it 6-3 Bombers, Lopez took a pass from Hewitt and found the back of the net to pull Scranton within two.
  • Augeri answered just 49 seconds later, and Ithaca added another goal at the 7:17 mark to extend its lead to 8–4.
  • Lopez brought Scranton within three with her third goal of the game at the 5:50 mark, and moments later she connected with Back, who scored her second of the day to cut the deficit to two.
  • With 2:12 remaining in the first half, Back assisted Allyson Flynn on her first goal of the game, although Ithaca converted a free-position attempt before the end of the period to take a 9-7 lead into the break.
