The University of Scranton men's golf team earned a pair of wins over King's College and Wilkes University in a local tri-match held Friday afternoon at Wyoming Valley Country Club in Hanover.
Scranton turned in a strong team performance with a score of 293, while King's placed second with a 325 and Wilkes finished at 339.
Jack Novis and Richard Essen shared medalist honors after each posted rounds of 70 (-1) to pace the Royals. Cade Kelleher added a 75 (+4), Gehrig Shannon followed with a 78 (+7), and Jake Lairdieson completed the lineup with a 79 (+8).
With the victory, Scranton improves to 8-0 on the season and will aim to stay unbeaten when it faces Wilkes in a dual match on Monday, April 19 at Glen Oak Country Club in Clarks Summit.
