The University of Scranton women's soccer team scored five times in the first half and added two more goals after halftime to cruise to a 7-0 victory over Farmingdale State College Sunday afternoon at Rams Field.
The Royals improve to 3-1-2 on the season, while the Rams fall to 4-2-1.
How It Happened
- Scranton opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when Peyton DiLello found the top right corner of the net off an assist from Jazzel Meikleham.
- Maggie Krasnomowitz doubled the lead in the 28th minute with her first career goal on a left footed strike into the top of net, scoring off assists from Libby Masterson and Meikleham.
- Addison Van Lenten made it 3-0 in the 34th minute, scoring off a loose ball following a corner kick.
- Lila Parente scored the first goal of her career in the 36th minute off a low cross into the box from Faith Schechter.
- Erin Farrell capped a five-goal opening half in the 40th minute with a left footed rip into the bottom right corner of the goal to give the Royals a 5-0 advantage at halftime.
- Jenna Borelli pushed the lead to 6-0 in the 59th minute off an assist from Lena Madjor.
- Parente converted a penalty kick just 83 seconds later to record her second goal of the afternoon and cap the scoring at 7-0.

- The Royals also held a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.
- Scranton committed four fouls, compared to seven for Farmingdale State.
