The University of Scranton women's cross country team opened its season with a second-place team finish at the Misericordia Invitational on Friday night in Dallas, scoring 32 points as a team. The Royals were paced by a standout performance from senior
Kyrianna Nemitz.
Nemitz led the Royals, placing second overall in the individual standings with a time of
15:04.40 on the 4k course
