Junior Year (2009-2010): Started all 27 games...capped off an outstanding season by being selected the Landmark Conference Player of the Year and first-team selection and earned all-Middle Atlantic regional honors by the National Association of Basketball (1st team) and D3hoops.com (2nd team)...was also recognized for his excellence in the classroom by earning second-team Academic all-America honors by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) in a program sponsored by ESPN The Magazine...Led Royals in scoring (20.1), 3-point percentage (.442), free throw percentage (.858), field goal attempts per game (11.9), assists (77), and minutes played (891)...scored in double figures in all 27 games, including 15 times where he scored at least 20 points...tossed in a career-high 29 points in an 80-62 victory over Catholic University at the Long Center on January 28...became the 37th player in Scranton history to score 1000 points in a career when he dropped in 28 point in an 85-74 loss to Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania on January 16 ...scored 28 points and came up with six steals in a 79-63 victory over Moravian College on December 5 at the Long Center...his 543 points were the most by a Royal since Derek Elphick tossed in 548 points during the 2002-2003 season...one of only six players in Scranton history to attempt at least 200 free throws in a season (219)...made 188 of his free throws attempts, which were the most made by a Royal since Bill Witaconis made 209 during the 1962-1963 season...made at least one 3-pointer in 26 games, including 21 in which he made two or more...attempted 10-or-more free throws in game nine times...shot at least 50 percent-or-higher from the field 14 times and 40 percent-or-higher from the 3-point arc 16 times...led the Landmark Conference in scoring (20.1); was second in free throw percentage (.858), 3-point field goal percentage (.442), 3-point field goals made (2.56), and minutes played (33); and was sixth in assists (2.85)...finished 37th in free throw percentage, 41st in scoring and 68th in 3-point field goals made and 3-point field goal percentage in the final NCAA Division III statistical rankings.
Sophomore Year (2008-2009): Appeared in all 28 games and started 27 times...led Royals in scoring (13.7), assists (3.6), steals (0.9), and free throw shooting percentage (.801)...earned first-team all-Landmark Conference and second-team all-Middle Atlantic regional honors by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC)...scored in double-figures 22 times, including a clutch, career-high 26-point effort in an 80-75 victory in overtime against Susquehanna University in the championship game of the Landmark Conference tournament on February 25 at the Long Center; in that game, connected on 9 of 11 field goal attempts and scored nine of the Royals' 14 points in overtime as Scranton won its second straight title...ignited a 12-3 rally with back-to-back lay-ups and finished with 14 points, four assists, four rebounds and two steals as the Royals overcame a 9-point deficit with 4:29 remaining in regulation to defeat Catholic University, 71-64, in overtime in the semifinals of the Landmark Conference tournament on February 25 at the Long Center...poured in 20-or-more points on four other occasions besides his 26-point effort against Catholic on February 28: tossed in 22 points in a 78-71 loss at Moravian on Dec. 6 and in an 86-77 win over Susquehanna at home on January 9; scored 21 points in a season-opening 90-59 victory over Hood College at the Lycoming tournament on November 15; and had 20 points in an 81-63 win at USMMA on February 8...his 102 assists were the most by a Royal since his high school and college teammate and former Scranton assistant coach Randy Arnold dished out 120 in 2007...handed out five-or-more assists eight times, including a career-high nine in an 83-53 win over Drew at home on January 25...had more assists than turnovers in 13 games...shot 50 percent-or-higher from the field 11 times and 40 percent-or-higher from the 3-point arc 15 times...made at least one 3-point field goal in a game 24 times and made two-or-more 12 times...outstanding free throw shooter; raised his average 100 points by connecting on 113 of 141 attempts (.801)...his ability to put the ball on the floor and take it to the basket resulted in him getting to the free throw line an average of over five times a game...during an eight-game span late in the season, connected on 39 of 44 free throw attempts (88.6 percent)...perhaps the most overlooked aspect of his game is his ability to rebound the basketball; finished third on the team with a 4.5 per game average and pulled down a career-high nine rebounds three times: in a win at Cabrini on November 19, in a win at Goucher on January 16, and in a loss at Susquehanna on January 31...averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals in leading the Royals to wins over Hood College and Lycoming College to win the most valuable player (MVP) award at the Lycoming tournament on November 16...finished third in assists (3.64), fourth in free throw percentage (.801), fifth in scoring (13.7) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.28), seventh in minutes played (32.29), and 10th in 3-point field goal percentage (.386) and 3-point field goals made per game (1.57) in the final Landmark Conference statistical rankings.
Freshman Year (2007-2008): Appeared in all 28 games and started the final 15 of the season (Royals went 12-3 with him in the starting lineup)...finished second on the team in scoring (11.4) and steals (1.3) and fourth in assists (1.5)...one of only two non-seniors to earn all-Landmark Conference honors in a ballot conducted among the league's head coaches...shot a very respectable 43.4 percent from the field (99 of 228), 38.8 percent from beyond the 3-point arc (31 of 80), and 70.1 percent (89 of 127) from the free throw line...scored in double-figures 15 times, including the final six games of the season, and had four 20-point outburst: connected on 7 of 11 shots from the field to finish with 20 points in a 96-85 loss to Moravian College at home on December 1; scored 20 points in a 72-70 overtime win at Albright on January 15; and knocked down a combined 12 of 20 shots from the field and finished with 20 points in back-to-back victories at Moravian, 82-60, in the regular-season finale on February 23 and 79-78 in the semifinals of the Landmark Conference tournament on February 27...tossed in a team-high 15 points and handed out six assists in a 64-57 win over Juniata at home in the Landmark Conference championship game on March 1...one of three Royals to score in double-figures (12 points) in Scranton's season-ending 71-53 loss to Elms College (Mass.) in the opening round of the NCAA tournament in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania...played at least 30 minutes in 13 games...shot at least 50 percent from the field 11 times and 40 percent from the 3-point arc 11 times...in the final 15 games of the season, shot 45.8 percent from the field (61 of 133), 41.3 percent (19 of 46) from beyond the 3-point arc, and 72.5 percent (66 of 91) from the free throw line and averaged 13.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game...finished third in 3-point field goal percentage (.434), seven in 3-point field goals made (1.1), ninth in steals (1.1), 11th in scoring (11.4), and 14th in free throw percentage (.701) in the final Landmark Conference statistical rankings.
High School: Averaged 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game as a senior...two-time all-league selection and most valuable player of a tournament in San Diego, California, his junior year...contributed 16.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game as a junior...also averaged 14.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals his sophomore year...part of a CB West contingent that posted a three-year record of 48-26 (.649) under head coach Adam Sherman...scored over 1000 points in his career...member of National Honor Society.
